Frankfurt am Main Mainansichten (Views of the Main) 1860

This photo by C. F. Mylius is from about 1860 and is one of the oldest photographic views of the Main.  It shows the Old Bridge and the Bridge Mill in the foreground.  The Cathedral Tower in the background is still in the old form that it retained until the Cathedral fire of 1867.

Das ca 1860 von C.F. Mylius gemachte Foto ist eine der ältesten Mainansichten von Frankfurt am Main. Es zeigt im Vordergund die Alte Brücke mit der Brückenmühle.  Der Domturm im Hintergrund ist noch in der Form, die bis zum Dombrand im Jahre 1867 hatte.
