Hinter dem Lämmchen from
the east. This
shows the House of the Moor's Head, which was known as House Hanau in the
middle ages. It was built in the 15th Century and remodeled in the
18th. To the right is the entrance to the Nuernberg
Court. Hinter
dem Lämmchen from
the west. Left, in the
foreground was the "House of the Little Lamb" that gave this
lane its name. It was known for its pretty house Madonna of the
late 15th century. The one seen in the photo was a copy, the
original was displayed in the Frankfurt Historic Museum
Fountain "behind the Little Lamb". The fountain originally stood in the lane. Here it is seen at its location behind the restaurant "To the Old Owl" Brunnen hinter dem Lämmchen. Der Brunnen stand ursprünglich in der Gasse. Hier sieht man ihn an seinem Standplatz hinter dem Restaurant "Zur alten Eule".
