The Opera House, 1925
Built between 1873 and 1880, and dedicated to "The True, the Beautiful and the Good"the cost of construction was  over four million gold marks.  It burned out completely in 1944.  Today, it has been rebuilt and serves as a venue for sophisticated musical productions and gala balls.

Das Opernhaus wurde in den Jahren 1873 - 1880 erbaut. Es ist gewidmet "Dem Wahren, Sch�nen, Guten" und kostete seinerzeit 4,2 Millionen Goldmark. Das Opernhaus brannte im Jahr 1944 v�llig aus. Heute ist es wieder aufgebaut und dient anspruchsvollen Musikveranstaltungen und Gala-B�llen.
